Description
Path designed with gentle movements and soft ondulations. A natural path very adapted to the topography.Pleasant for players and atractive from theenviroment point of view. Gentle slopes, water, enviroment, weather and spectacular greens make La Monacilla reference course in the area
4 Excellent test for our tournament of professional golfers, will be back, highly recommend to all. Don't play from the back tees unless very competent.

2.25 The entrance to the resort is grand, huge sign and even bigger statues. At the clubhouse things are different. The clubhouse was not ready yet, so receipt was in a container next to the driving range... Starting time was no problem, we were alone on the course! We expected a lot of this course and after a bland hole 1, holes 2 - 7 did meet our expectations. Interesting and varying holes with some elevation. Exciting par 5 water hole 7. After that the inspriration of Olazabal seemed gone. Holes 8 - 18 are the most boring ever. Only very flat straight tree lined holes with uninspired bunkering and only variation is in length. What could be the reason for this? Lack of funds due to unsold houses? I hope Olazabal will be more inspired at the next Ryder Cup!
