This event, which could be named the <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">, would replace the previous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfinspain.com\/b\/t\/edam-en\/\">Estrella Damm Andaluc\u00eda Masters<\/a>. It would be held annually between 2026 and 2031 as part of the DP World Tour calendar, thus paving the way for Spain to host the Ryder Cup for the second time in its history, after Valderrama in 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">This new championship, which is shaping up to be a key requirement for the biennial event, would be played at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfinspain.com\/golf-courses\/camiral-golf-749.html\"><strong><span class=\"selected\">Camiral Golf &amp; Wellness<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span class=\"selected\"> complex (formerly known as PGA Catalunya).
