About the golf course

The Valle Guadiana Links  course is located at the left bank of Guadiana River’s mouth, which serves as a border between Spain and Portugal. Being integrated in a Nature Reserve, its special idiosyncrasy gives a freeing and relaxing effect, different from the rest of the golf courses nearby. Valle Guadiana Links  is a superb riverside parkland course with a real links feel. Just 2 kilometres from the highway connecting directly with Seville and Portugal (A-49). Valle Guadiana Links Golf Club is part of the Costa Esuri Urbanization, in the city of Ayamonte, in the heart of the Spanish Algarve.

Pleasantly surprised. A good layout Well worth a visit to play the course for the price. It has been taken over locally and there was a nice welcome. No need for a buggy as the course is fairly flat. The only long walk is to the first tee. Bar was open but no food. Greens were in good condition. First nine plays along the river which borders Spain & Portugal. Played December 2015.

We were welcomed in a very enthousiastic way. We needed this warmth as the wether was cold and stormy after a few very warm and calm days. First 6 holes are links type and due to the storm it really looked like Scotland! The course then enters a more hilly, secluded and luckily more sheltered part. Condition of the course was very good and fairways firm so that the length of the course was not such a problem.
