The shortest of the par-fours, the eighth runs back parallel to the seventh and is
a slight dog-leg left. Because the hole is surrounded by cork trees, some players
may choose to hit an iron from the tee for accuracy. Then a short iron approach is
required to a generous green protected in the front by an enormous bunker from which
the hole gets its name.
