About the golf course
Talayuela Golf Course is the first public golf course of Extremadura. The City of Talayuela and the Royal Spanish Golf Federation have joined together for this initiative of creating a public golf course.
Designed by Severiano Ballesteros and managed and maintained by the RFEG.

Very neglected course... the green hardly exists... the truth is it isn´t worth playing.

I´ve come on the 9th of August, the course was totally impracticable. The fairways are pure dry land, hard and without a strand of grass. Only the last 9 holes were open and the caddy master didn´t let us know how bad the fairways were. The worst course that I have played at in my life, without a doubt, an early rise without any sense and a total waste of money. They were changing the grass to bermudagrass type... I guess that the course will get better but I don´t think I will go back, at least they could have let me know about the conditions of the course before playing and then I could have decided. From hole one, I was thinking of leaving. I only did 9 holes and because the partner I was with were great people... if not I would have left. A DISASTER!!
