About the golf course La Tercia is a new golf course, only a year and a half old, with 9 holes to be extended to 18 in the future.
The course, which has 3 par threes, 3 par fours, and 3 par fives, was designed by José Gancedo who had the vision to create a challenging golf course in a unique location.
Players will encounter undulating greens and wide fairways similar to British links courses, plus watercourses to test their accuracy and strategy, without the urban development hindering play.
La Tercia has a magnificent Club House, fully equipped for all the golfer’s needs, but what makes UGR La Tercia unique, is our aquatic driving range, the first one in Spain.
The driving range overlooks the lake, complete with all the standard distance markers, whereby players can check exact distances, the only time players can aim their balls purposely into the water – for a change!
La Tercia is 5km away from the town Balsicas which has one of the busiest railway stations, 25km away from Murcia and 15km away from the beach and San Javier Airport which is the nearest airport, making the course easily accessible.
