Fantastic experience. If there was one criticism it is that we didn’t see a food cart until the 17th and there is no half way house.
None of this is a problem but would have been good to know in advance so we could buy food etc before teeing off.
I think informing golfers of this would be helpful.
Another course on the island gave us a number to call to order food to be brought out to us. That would be a fantastic idea in my opinion.

We play The Abama every time we come to the island.
However, I believe the greens are unfair and just too fast for handicap golfers.
I'm an average 10 handicap golfer and had my reasonable round of golf spoilt by the crazy pin positions.
What used to be a great par 4 is now a Par 3. This is because of the new villas being built.
These changes make the Abama overpriced!

Very beautiful and challenging. You have to play with the buggy at all times. Range included 40 minutes before tee time. Very fast greens and the entire course is in good condition. (automated translation)

Excellent course. Course conditions were fantastic and some stunning holes to match. Beware of some (most) of the greens as they are VERY challenging!

The course is beautiful and very scenic, with lots of great holes, but the speed and slopes of the greens make it very difficult to score and a bit random. Some great shots from playing partners into greens ended up 40 feet off green and no stopping downhill putts!

Very nice course, third time playing, had a issue with a shared buggy before tee off two ladies in the pro shop were friendly, I couldn’t have my own buggy at 9:30 playing with one player but I could have one at 9:10 playing on my own, on my green fee it said buggy included, for a five star resort they need to change this rule asap as it’s embarrassing for them, will play again as it’s a very nice trek
