Absolutely terrifying hole one. Bit the most fun I had all year on a course. Bring a few balls with you. You will be able to see them, but not worth the risk to pick them. Course was a little wet, but a lot of fun. The drive there was a little long, but worth it.

Going here for over 20 years but never again, the fairways and greens were shocking, the bunkers were worse and the service in the clubhouse was terrible. Very disappointing

Golf course in spectacular surroundings, greens were in excellent condition. You have to keep the ball very strait and you need to know, where to play it. We lost balls that were played in the middle of the fairway but then rolled away somewhere. Not too much fun, when good shots are not rewarded.

Condition of course is a bit scruffy but greens and fairways completely playable. You must bring alot of balls as you will lose slot. Fantastic course

Great golfcourse, beauty full surrounded by mountains. Well taken care off. Buggy are a real must because of the height variations. Took the Taylor made rental set, not cleaned ;-). For most common players, very demanding and a challenge not to loose balls. Funny after ending the round the question was "how many balls did you loose ? " My reply: ended plus 8 mostly pro v1 ;-) . For sure i will return to this great golfcourse.

we had a wonderfull golfday at Al Haurin. The conditions where very good in terms of the course, the greens and the wheather.

The condition of this course was very poor. A lot of dead areas and weeds in the fairways, and large bare patches on the greens. The scenery is incredible. This tricky, challenging course deserves to be cared for better.

We were told beforehand that Alhaurimn was scruffy and one of the weaker courses. HOwever this son changed with the warm welcome and the fantastic practive facilities. A beautiful clubhouse an setting for a stunning and extremeley challenging 18 holes of golf. Seve, again has put his stamp on the course with the need to think over every shot, play some fades, some draws, and hit the ball both high and low. He has literally carved some holes out on the front nince out of a mountainside. Definitely a thinkers golf course! Its very easy to lose balls and rack up a huge score if you're not careful. It can be a little brutal in places. It opens up a little on the back nine, but i'd still keep the driver in the bag as much as you can. The 5th is stunning, along with the 2nd, 8th and 13th also being iconic holes. Take your camera on the 6th tee, both for the beautiful scenery and to try and guage where your ball lands! Greens were very spongy but true, and able to hit the ball into the green and stop it. Fairways were a litle patchy, but its the course layout that you will remember most. Overall a very very enjoyable golf course and highly recommended to any golfers in Costa Del Sol.

One of the best by far. Sceanery is spectacular, fairways are ondulated, greens are well protected and manucured. Favourite hole: all of them to be honest, but number 6 will be tasting few drives...and second shots on this par five! The front nine is toping the lot to be honest, but for 50 euros with buggy and lunch, you would be mad to miss this SBallesteros course.... Be aware it is like Marmite overthere, some of my friend would rather go to the beach than play there, only because the slope is over 140....so very technical indeed. Don't be put off if high handicap...just try...it is Marmite..

Beware of the 13 green, we were nearly robbed. Theives hide in the bushes and sneek up behind the buggy when your on the green. The management were not interested, they said it was a sign of the times. I spoke to other people who had been robbed in other parts of the course. I live on Alhurin golf course but would not play it again.

Each time we play this course, the fairways and greens are in fair or good condition (depending on weather). Best course for the price-the lowest for such condition of course on "costa".

Played last May with group of friends. Fantastic lay out, true Ballesteros course with ondulated fairways and tricky greens. Some of us loved it, some of us hated it...I loved it and would play again any days. 40 euros of pure pleasure and bargain!! ps: bring some balls...just in case

This is a very difficult golf course. You need to be low handicapper to play this course well. It was also very wet all over the course. I wouldn't play it again

Ballesteros was not the straightest player.from the tee.. the very same designer of this course wouldn't be able to play it without penalty shots. Some holes are almost unplayable. I went out of bounds on a par 4 playing not a driver, a 3 or 5 wood, but instead a straight 5 iron, that got a bad bounce on a 4 meters wide landing zone... other perfect shots went oob because they were just too good, on blind holes... absurd course, although very beautiful.

A poor imitation of La Cala and too many blind shots, the course was very wet when we played it, although it does have some good holes, but the blind shots let it down, if you not a low handicap golfer (less than about 12 max) give it a miss

If you like crazy golf then this course is for you, personally I didn't like it one bit, too many blind shots and the condition of the course was very poor (it looked very poorly cared for) there are plenty of other courses in the area to choose from and I would recommend looking at these first. Our group of six voted it the worse course of the week.

The more you play it the better it gets. There are many tight fairways with punishing ravines but you will come away determined to come back and take it on again. It will always be my first game on every visit to Spain.

Much improved greens and fiarways since my 2003 review. Still the toughest golf course I've played. Club house greatly improved. Staff friendly.

Didn't enjoy golf here. Very narrow fairways, especially front nine. Seve has made it tough! Very hilly. Generally a disappointment.

Played 4Ball Oct 03. if target, crazy golf is your game then this is a must. We have never seen such blind course. The fairways are all very narrow and none are flat. too keep play moving almost every thing off fairway is now marked as lateral (red) water hazard, although there is virtually no water. Difficult to recomend to anyone with 4+ handicap.

Simply the best great course, fantastic club house value for money and more has become the must play course on the costa staff friendly even the marshalls had the craic buggies a must

very tough rugged course with some great holes, in 1st class condition, practice facilities and bar/restaurant are very good. Played at 4pm as a 2 ball and got round in 3 hrs, if you are able, play it more than once to benefit from the course knowledge. Represents top value for money

This is one of the hardest golf courses I have ever played. The fairways are very narrow. Land off the fairways and you will see your ball bounce in the air of the rocks and never see it again. If you have a bag full of balls and want a challenge go for it, otherwise stay well away.

A well laid out course, but the rough and fairways need cutting and tiying up.The course seemed to need treatment, especially some of the greens which appeared a little dry.
