Fairways in very good condition, Course was very good overall, staff friendly

Great course with a lot of character. Challenging par 3s and some gettable par 5s. It is an annual trip for us.. Staff is fantastic and good food.

Having made several reservations through the "Golf in Spain" website, I was able to appreciate the quality/price ratio they offer. I especially appreciated their "flexibility" and responsiveness during my last bookings. In fact, having had to change my travel dates, Golf in Spain was able to respond quickly to my request and make the date changes with the golf courses I had chosen. (automated translation)

Interesting course, plenty of variety of holes, some challenging. Being long standing the holes are shorter than newer courses.

We played this course on 10 October 2015. We had been led by the GIS description ('fantastically manicured greens') and the reviews ('lush fairways and nice greens') to believe that the course would be up to the standard of Nuevo Portil, El Rompido and Islantilla, which we had already played. Alas, the fairways and greens were almost bare of grass in places, whilst the tees were often overgrown. The course has clearly been badly neglected in recent times, and was a great disappointment. We think that the GIS description should be updated.

We have played this course and it is extremely good value for money. My playing partner has played at quite a lot of courses over the world, including Augusta, St Andrews and 6 other Open courses to name a few. Unfortunately he is not playing as well as he used to and his h/cap has drifted up to 14, still not bad for a 75 year old.He says that the greens are the best he has ever played on for reading and running true.The last time we played this course I passed his comments to the gent behind the counter in the pro shop and was overheard by 2 more people who turned out to be the Greens Chairman and the Lady Captain. They said it was nice to hear compliments about the course instead of some of the moans about ground too hard, too dry, etc and appreciated these comments.It is things like that that make the task of being on a golf council worth while. Playing again in 2 weeks, we cannot wait to get there.
