Do not pass up on this one. Once you find it you will not forget it. Unbelievable front 9 , requires precision shots and course management.Back 9 seems a snip after front. Although the higher handicap player may find on the daunting side , it has to be played. Keep driver in the bag and plot your way round . Greens excellent. Avoid if you are a beginner . Fairways edged with red stakes , do not try and look for your ball if you miss fairways unless you like 100ft drops . 11/10

clever design and breathtaking views. Probably the best i've played in spain. Almost every hole deserves a picture. Tough to play, but good shots have good results, something that can't be said of every mountain course here. Smart design workarounds to complicate short holes, like all par 5's, for example.

Fantastic. If you are on form you will love this course. If you are not go to Mijas instead. Tough but fair.

great golf course, played 1st and 2nd week of sept. you do not grip it and rip it on this course. Strange point is both 9 and 18 are par 3's. Mountain course, there could be 300 ft difference from tee to fairway. If you can draw your drives, you can score. Coming from USA, the metric yardage is a little tough

Simply the best. A stunning course that will have you thinking about club selection more than any other in the region. Friendly welcome. Do not attempt to walk the course!

monte mayor is a wonderful course and setting but we all know that. my main concern is that there was 14 people that played it,i myself payed at the bar but others chose to pay the total at the end 10 of us then left while the 4 that intended to pay the total bar and food bill at the end were given a bill for 14 people, not on would never go there again.

Holy Cow!!! Take a camera because nobody will believe what you tell them about this course! I will never be afraid of another golf hole again! I was smilling and giggling all the way around this one. What a challenge. Nothing comes close to this in the states. Not a real long course, but you will need to place the ball correctly. Huge rises and drops from tees to greens. Narrow fairways, large drop-offs next to the fairways. Hit a ball out of the fairway you can just forget about looking for it. At least the buggy had good breaks and good traction. You need to be in VERY good shape to walk this one, but I don't recommend it. This course will give you the time of your life! Great climb into the hills to get there too. Valderama is maybe the top challenge course of the area, but this course is first on my list for just the EXPERIENCE. I will not forget this day of golf.
