About the golf course
Arcos Golf has been developed as a challenge to professionals, whilst providing an enjoyable experience for amateurs. With five - six tees on every hole and strategically located bunkers and lakes, the course creates a variety of challenges for players. The course has wide, forgiving fairways yet still manages to place a premium on accuracy as you approach the greens. Surrounded by a vast array of wildlife and plants, with views across the countryside to surrounding lakes and the cliff-top town of Arcos de la Frontera, a round of golf at Arcos Gardens is a true pleasure for all players.

The course was not very well kept but the worst came at the end at 14 hours when they had closed the clubhouse and had left and our clothes in the locker room. Thanks to the gardener who started to call the people in charge and a person could come and open the door for us. No showers or light or anything, just change and leave because they were in a hurry. Beautiful location for a course that unfortunately is now in a terrible state. Little water and poor maintenance that makes the green fee not even being cheap, it is not worth it. (automated translation)

Great course with fantastic views of arcos. Well maintained and will really test your capabilities. If you are a high handicapper (>26) you are probably not going to like this course.

Say good-bye to Arcos Gardens, long live Arcos Golf. Golf course was closed down from May to July 2014 due to financial difficulties of the former owner. Now new begin with a new owner. Tee boxes and fairways are partly in a poor condition, greens are playable. Price offer until end of October 2014: € 80 for 2 persons incl. buggy. View and layout of the course are still fantastic, but course needs money, water and maintenance.
