The course itself has 27 Championship holes, a 9 hole Par3 course and the best practice facility in Europe according to the PGA of Sweden. A Magnificent design from Olazabal testing players from all levels, be it scratch hándicaps to beginners. The couse is flat with slight undulations with some holes directly on the coast with strategically placed bunkers and lakes dotted around the course. Golf is a sport of honesty. Never in my 30 years carrier of golf have I been treated like the caddiemaster of Costa Ballena did. Shame on the office.

Located close to the sea with 27 holes but the 18 we played did not have seaside views. An impressive practice facility for both long and short game. Pleasant flat and conventional layout. Good grass condition and medium speed greens when we played (the chipping green on the practice facility was much faster than the greens on the course). Pleasant course and welcoming staff. Good value for the money.
