when i first played the course about 7 years ago, it was in an immaculate condition: The tees were even, the fairways lush and well cut and the greens rather hard, fast and true. Now the course is in a desastrous shape: despite of an existing irrigation system, not only for the greens, but also for the teeboxes and fairways. the latter two are dry, yellow, as hard as concrete, showing innumerous divotholes and dozens of digging holes caused by the abundance of rabbits. None of the fairways are open to the entrance of the greens, the greens themselves are extremley soft and are not being cut for weekend competitions. Pinpositions are only changed once a week, regardless of any tournaments. The bunkers are not filled with the usual sand one would expect, but with a nasty mixture of fine gravel and gray clay. It is a shame to let such a fine design of Manuel Pinero go down the drain on a long run.

A much better course than first impressions would have you believe. The clubhouse and pro shop are very ordinary, and there is a ludicrous trek to the first tee, but the course itself is a decent test. One rather silly hole, the second, but otherwise plenty of good testing golf.
