Lauro 27 Golf can be found in the middle of beautiful pure nature in spectacular surroundings. The course consists of 27 holes that can be played in three different combinations, all par 72.
From the beginning the design and function of the course has been based on respecting the nature and the environment that surrounds it by not only saving and caring for the already existing trees but also by planting thousands of new trees, most of them indigenous Andalusian species.
Golf course was total chaos competitions twice during our five days stay and two competitions on the same day one for adults and one for juveniles on the Saturday. Tee off times that didn't suit one hour to play one hole chucked it half way down the second hole and went to the pub. Busiest golf course I have ever been on probably because they tell you where you are to start ie 1st tee 10th tee or 19th tee and this was unlimited golf more like restrictive golf. This course was never quiet during our time there in February 2014 probably due to it being their high season. Average time for a round can be 6hours or more for 18 holes. The course is nice but not enjoyable to play unless you like standing and waiting on every tee. I wont ever be back on a 27 hole golf course again it just doesn't work, and if you think about it when they have three starting places how do you slot in after 9 holes.
