ANORETA Golf Course is one that is best described as "having seen better days". The layout is really good , and it has some interesting holes, BUT it suffers from a lack of care and attention. The reception person took my voucher handed my three keys for buggies and said "thank you." We were 6 people and went out in a two ball and a four ball. There was a queue f buggies on the buggy path lwading up to the first tee (most of the buggies were privately owned.) We asked and found our place and when it came to our first tee time, we teed off. The tees were scruffy and there was a lot of wear on the steps leading up to the tees. The fairways were OK , considering the lack of rain in Andulcia over the past 3 years. The greens were good - level and true, and all seemed to be of the same pace. The bunkers were poor - very little sand, and poor quality. It was difficult to get out of a greenside bunker. We won't hurry back.

Best course in Tenerife

The difficulty is not due to an outstanding test of golf! It is because good shots get every time punished due to the fact that every ball runs away. The mowing is unfair the ball rolls off almost any fairway. Only the last 6 holes reminds us of a Golfcourse. A no go for any of the upcoming years. ( at least for us) …
