About the golf course
Designed in 1973 by Gary Player, El Paraiso is one of the most established courses on the Costa del Sol. Set out in the peaceful El Paraiso valley with the backdrop of the majestic 'La Concha' mountain to the north and the sparkling Mediterranean to the south, El Paraiso has the envious reputation of not only providing one of the best championship course layouts on the coast, which draws players back time and time again, but also being the friendliest international club too. New members, golf societies and visitors are welcome.

we were a group of golfers, we have been playing in some golf courses, el paraiso has been one of the best, state of fairways in good condition, the greens fast and perfect, one of the fastest we've played .... generally all fantastic, we will come back again.

Great layout and design but... what a shame about the condition of the greens. Played here at the end of September and virtually every green has large bare patches mixed with some very course grass. Unless this can be improved all the good about El Paraiso is lost.

A great course! Extremely open, so quite forgiving, but some very long holes and very clever greens made it much trickier than it first looked. Very good condition, although 15th and 16th was closed for some repairs while we were there (apparently it will open in 2-4 weeks). By far the best course in the area - made all the more special by the fact that it was designed by Gary Player

Played there 16th September in group of 16. Nice wide open course suitable for all handicaps. Good value course without dramas and not tricked up. Condition of course could have been a bit better.

Fantastic course, though the 2nd or 3rd going up the hill was quite strenuous and then the 15th uphill as well took its toll on me, but really enjoyed the course, great layout and well maintained.
