About the golf course

Its 18-hole, 5.714 meter, par-71 course, designed by the prestigious couse architect Antonio Garcia Garrido is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping.

Alferini Golf is a true challenge for any golfer. Situated next to the other course of our Resort, it is a long layout of 6,641 metres, and one of the few par-73s on the Coast, with some of the fairways requiring pinpoint accuracy and large, generous greens. Out on the course there is a feeling of peace and quiet, a welcome lack of noise, because Alferini Golf is truly in the midst of nature, a lush valley within the mountains of Benahavís.

Played Alferini, set in a valley and mountains, it is a gorgeous course and a fair challeng for all standards of golfer it is different to your average Costa Del Sol courses. Take a buggy it is hilly.

Fabulous course. We played Flamingos GC today (February 8, 2014). For us the first time that we played here, and certainly not the last. Beautiful layout, great conditions of fairways and tees. Greens were a little slow compared to some of the other courses we played but beautiful and very Big! The course offers great views over the mountains, the sea and their own 'lake'. You'll be challenged by the narrow fairways on the front 9, and bunkers and water hazards on the back nine. We took a pull trolley and walked the course, which is ok in this season. Some holes are quite steep though (14 and 17) and the passage from the 5th green to the 6th tee is pretty hard. You'll not be disappointed

Stunning. The clubhouse/hotel is unbelieveably beautiful and opulent and the course was as well presented as I have seen anywhere in the world. The greens however eclipse everything else, thet are just fantastic and if you can't putt here, give up. One of the most memorable days golf I have have had.

Beautiful course and wonderfully imposing clubhouse. Nicely challenging course with tough fairways to hit and keeps you guessing for the right club. Beautifully manicured course. I would recommend it to everyone. Take a lot of photos... especially of #1 and #10 holes.
