love this corse but its hard you will need loads of balls if you have a bad round you play over a few ravens on to tight fairways club selection has to be spot on , to short and raven to long and you can ping off rocks The corse is in good condition it the moment ( 8.4.2011 ) it dose take a long time to get round but the drinks buggy came 4 times . we play this part of spain twice a year and never miss los ramblas

In the tees the sketch of the hole is missing, since in most the flag is not seen until the 2nd hit. (Translated from a review in Spanish).

The entrance to the resort is grand, huge sign and even bigger statues. At the clubhouse things are different. The clubhouse was not ready yet, so receipt was in a container next to the driving range... Starting time was no problem, we were alone on the course! We expected a lot of this course and after a bland hole 1, holes 2 - 7 did meet our expectations. Interesting and varying holes with some elevation. Exciting par 5 water hole 7. After that the inspriration of Olazabal seemed gone. Holes 8 - 18 are the most boring ever. Only very flat straight tree lined holes with uninspired bunkering and only variation is in length. What could be the reason for this? Lack of funds due to unsold houses? I hope Olazabal will be more inspired at the next Ryder Cup!

We were welcomed in a very enthousiastic way. We needed this warmth as the wether was cold and stormy after a few very warm and calm days. First 6 holes are links type and due to the storm it really looked like Scotland! The course then enters a more hilly, secluded and luckily more sheltered part. Condition of the course was very good and fairways firm so that the length of the course was not such a problem.

Great course for all level handicaps but perhaps ideal to play from April to November... to cold the rest of the year for the course to be in good shape.

Played this course end of february. Recommended to us by Swiss golfer we met at Valle del este. Bitterly disappointed by the condition of the course. No exercise possibilities, greens in sorry state, as well as the fairways. Difficulty level very high, when windy close to impossible, especially in the condition we found it in! Wouldn't recommend this course to anyone.
