In Golf in Spain we are proud to have successfully completed the organization of the Famtrip (destination familiarization trips for industry professionals) tendered at the end of 2023 and awarded by the Almeria City Council in April, a key project to promote Almeria as a golf destination.

This event, which was held from September 15 to 20, 2024The event allowed us to get actively involved and show the richness of this destination to international and national tour operators, with participants of up to seven different nationalities.

A Complete Project: From Planning to Execution

The Fam Trip was a challenge that involved meticulous work in all phases of the process. From the call and selection of participants, to the planning of the agenda and the coordination of all services. We took care of every detail, from the contracting of accommodations and activities, to the logistics of transfers to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees.

Showing the Best of Almería

During the five days of the Fam Trip, we focused on showing the best of Almeria as a golf destination, not only through its magnificent golf courses such as Alboran Golf, Golf Playa Serena, Desert Spring or Aguilon, but also highlighting the unique cultural and gastronomic offerings that the city and its surroundings have to offer.
Participants enjoyed unforgettable experiences such as a tapas tour through the historic centre of Almeria and a spectacular boat trip through the crystal clear waters of Cabo de Gata.

Digital Marketing Campaign and Publirreportages

In addition to the planning and execution of the trip, this project included the production of a digital marketing campaign and media advertorials in the UK, initiatives that are still ongoing. To this end, we adapted the “Change Your Approach” campaign, which was already underway, and created specific content, such as landing pages and customized designs for participants’ gifts. The objective was clear: to reinforce the image of Almeria as an ideal destination for golf tourism.

This project would not have been possible without the support of the technicians of the Almeria City Council and the managers of Alboran Golf, Golf Playa Serena and Aguilón Golf. Aguilón Golfas well as the hotels that participated in the action.
