Very nice course. Played three times after 12:00 PM and had the course to myself. Beautiful tee boxes, fairways and most importantly, greens. Several holes challenge you with elevation changes and some with blind approaches. Wonderful course. See Tomas Jesus in the pro shop for supplies, expert fitting and awesome advise on the game. Play this course, you'll return for more.

You have to be very picky to find fault with this course. It’s really well designed: every hole is interesting/challenging/tricky/beautiful to look at, and the general views back to the sea are terrific. On top of this, it’s virtually empty and in immaculate condition: the greens are like carpets, smooth, fast, accurate, but with lots of level changes and interesting borrows. It's not an especially long course, but the fairways are often tight, and the holes are either intriguingly hidden, or in full view like US-style target golf. The aprons are wooly, so pitch and run does not work here: you need to play open sand wedge flops all the time. My only criticism would be the sand: it's just too compacted (and overwatered) so impossible to play a proper wedge escape. Yes there are a lot of great courses on this coast, but this is interesting, quirky, and a challenge for anyone. Well worth it.

I love this course....third time I have played it and it just keeps getting better. Sure there are some tricky holes but it's all part of the enjoyment. Congratulations to the staff, the course is in wonderful condition.

Excellent course in beautiful countryside surroundings. Varied layout, good greens, with nice views all the way round. Perhps 18 is a weak finishing hole but thoroughly enjoyed my day here.

Played A+B and thoroughly enjoyed it. Course was in good condition (maybe tees could have been better) and greens excellent. Very varied course with lots of dog legs and challenges over water. Not overly long so plenty of birdie opportunities provided you hit it straight! Had a remote/countryside feeling despite being on a complex. Super Cafe after 9 holes for a drink and a snack.

I've played Pebble Beach, Brookline, K Club, Celtic Manor etc. La Galiana was perhaps the most fun course I've ever played. Immaculate conditions, barely anyone playing there, greens fees, with cart! Hopefully it will survive the economic downturn. A real gem.

Do not play this course without a buggy. We hired trolleys and had to walk what felt like miles on metalled paths in golf shoes - not comfortable.

Not played MFGC for 2 years and was pleasantly surprised at the huge improvements made all round. Course is in very good condition, nearly all the greens have been replaced, I think just 2 or 3 to be completed. Well manicured. Enjoyable apres golf on the terrace afterwards. Great value for money.

Very unforgiving rough, if your ball strays from the fairway. But fortunately, the fairways are pretty wide. There isn't much water, but plenty of ravines. Personally, I enjoy the scenery with vantage points catching sight of all the mountains around Barcelona. You will see Montserrat quite often. Green is very tricky for me, especially with a set of rental golf clubs. Pins are well-placed to punish misjudgements in speed.

A great course, on level to the best ones in Sotogrande, the only downsid is that it is usually pretty busy, and the pace of play can be affected. (Translated from a review in Spanish).
