Good fairways and workable grass enables a divot. Doesn't grab the blade. Greens challenging and rolling but areas need caring.
Lovely relaxing setting. Even the frequent trains glide past super fast. Nice to walk on grass listen to the birds and the breaking waves nearby. Definitely good therapy and excellent price. We hired all gear and I'm LH set was new. Practice area and range excellent value too. Will be back

course in good condition and every hole has its own character and challenge. Greens are very receptive, so pitch right to the hole.
Not a long course with tees and greens nearby. Great if you're pulling a trolly.

A very pretty and challenging golf course , how ever I will never go back the course was seriously over booked and the round took 7 hours which is just disgraceful! the staff didn't seem bothered and acted like this was the normal .

Potentially a good course, but poor condition of fairways and greens let it down. A cart is absolutely essential, as the distances between greens and tees is considerable most of the time.
A lot of high handicappers playing when I played as a 2 ball. We got let through three groups but one group held us up very badly over the last 5 holes.
No real facilities and a temporary clubhouse with a 'restaurant' which served cold coffee and not much else.
Pales into insignificance with the immaculate Indiana course at Desert Springs.

Very nice 4-star hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. Breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. Only two negatives: a mediocre buffet-only dinner and the fact that you must take a very long walk to reach any restaurants (which turned out to be excellent).

Dear Ana and Benesa, my partner and I had a great round of golf @Font del Llop today 17/10/12, our twilight round was excellent value compared to other high profile courses in the area and the 3pm tee time ample time to finish in daylight.
The course was easy to find and a testing 18 holes in a stunning peaceful setting, we were sorry not to enjoy the outlook with a post game drink.
Finally may I add the ease of booking, guidance in directions and warm welcome could be followed by many golf clubs both in Spain and the UK, as in the minor but noteworthy matter of the buggy's being cleaned and emptied with the user's name tag labelled on the buggy before use.
The condition was excellent given the weather the week before. Keep up the excellent work, we will be back and certainly recommend your course.

Ps thanks Benesa for the tip re the fairways/lakes.

Rating this course in the moment would be unfair. The course with its surrounding is one of the best and unique on Costa del sol. But,.....something happened to the course between February and October. The fairways and greens are in really bad condition. It looks that they are working on it so give them a time (we played-in rated order-Alcaidesa links, Marbella G&CC, Alhaurin).
