Firstly, as a visitor you will need a Buggy !!
A superb "Seve" course, each hole is almost on it's own with magnificent Greens. Plenty of Water about but you won't need to swim ! Ok to be wide off the tee but you need to be accurate to the Greens - all-in-all very good value for money and golf.

This course gets better and better. We always seem to be a little hungover when we play but this sorts you out! Don't be put off by the golf course snobs. This will challenge you but won't destroy out

We have played this course and it is extremely good value for money. My playing partner has played at quite a lot of courses over the world, including Augusta, St Andrews and 6 other Open courses to name a few. Unfortunately he is not playing as well as he used to and his h/cap has drifted up to 14, still not bad for a 75 year old.He says that the greens are the best he has ever played on for reading and running true. The last time we played this course I passed his comments to the gent behind the counter in the pro shop and was overheard by 2 more people who turned out to be the Greens Chairman and the Lady Captain. They said it was nice to hear compliments about the course instead of some of the moans about ground too hard, too dry, etc and appreciated these comments. It is things like that that make the task of being on a golf council worth while. Playing again in 2 weeks, we cannot wait to get there.

I played Cortesín the first week of January and plan on coming back in March. I can only say good things about this course. The layout is fantastic, perfect greens and the service form the staff is by far the best in Costa del Sol. I have only seen this kind of management in Florida. From the minute you park your care the staff is ready to make your round very pleasent. The course has a breat variety of trees and they keep planting more. You must visit this club if you go to Andalucía
