Played the course 3 times during our stay in Gran Canaria . Course was in good condition and consistent - tee boxes , fairways, bunkers and greens. Pace of play ok for all 3 rounds. Definately needed to play the course more than once to really enjoy it.

We teed on time but the pace of play in front was very slow only managed 15 holes before it got dark and that took us nearly 5 hours , the greens were not brilliant as pitch marks everywhere and the grass was roughed up like someone had worn rugby boots

The problem of Santa Maria was that the time between two flights are so short, that we very often had to wait before we could tee off nearly every hole . But every thing else was fine.

Course and facilities have improved dramatically since last year. Hopefully in another years time when we return the course will be 100% back to the condition worthy of something with the Nicklaus signature name
