We played Aguilón twice and really enjoyed it. The course is interesting with dramatic scenery and well maintained and presented. Some of the holes are really challenging and there are many ‘barancas’ - once a ball goes into one of these, you are not getting it back! The November weather was sunny but extremely windy. I would like to play the course in more benign conditions!

As the name suggests, this feels like playing in a desert. Cacti everywhere and a shot off the fairway is in stony wasteland. We were playing holiday golf and soon decided to play fee drops from the desert areas to avoid damaging our clubs. The holes are interesting and we enjoyed playing the course. A couple of shared fairways to beware of! Windy conditions made it challenging! A nice clubhouse with excellent food options.

First, the course has the largest golf shop in Spain spanning 2 floors and the prices aren’t hateful. The course itself is beautiful with mountains framing 3 sides and the Mediterranean on the fourth. Lots of hills, but nothing that can’t be managed. The greens can be very tricky because of the slopes and undulations.

Great “warm up” course to start your golf trip. The course isn’t particularly interesting, and there’s conditions are fair, but not great. Planes often are landing over you, so it’s loud. But… it has some charm and I always enjoy playing it. Kinda like a familiar muni in a new land.

Lovely mountain views. Lots of elevation change will give you a challenge. There are 3 nines and all have their own charm. 19-27 may be a little to close to each other for some people, but nothing really problematic. 26 has a forced carry par 3, but it looks more intimidating than it actually plays. Many opportunities for beautiful view selfies to make your friends jealous.

Lakes Course plays easier than it looks as the fairways are player friendly and there’s no troublesome rough. Well maintained. Some elevation changes, but most holes play relatively flat.

Beautiful views with a challenging, but fair, course. It has the largest double green I’ve ever seen which is diabolical as it’s narrow and turtle backed. I try to play this course every time I visit.
